Hi, I’m Jacob Stobnicki, a longtime Mercedes-Benz enthusiast from New York.

My passion for Mercedes started with my 1992 190E 2.3 (W201), a car I’ve owned, maintained, and driven for years. That classic introduced me to the brand’s infamous engineering and durability, and it quickly grew into a much deeper interest in older Mercedes generations.

Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time around models like the R129, R107, and W124. Working on them, helping keep them on the road, and learning their individual quirks inside and out. These experiences, combined with years of studying technical data, service manuals, owner forums, and real-world usage, are what I draw from when writing detailed guides and model overviews.
